Just A Little History
Bootlegger’s Web Design started back in 2006‚ after six year’s working on my band’s website Without Limits and helping friend’s keep their site’s updated. I thought it was time to start my own design company. So that I could help small business’s with their website’s.
A lot of web designers around here locally are still using tables for their layout. And most of their client’s think that they are receiving a quality product that’s accessible to a wide range of there audience. I’m not trying to rag on them‚ just trying to let them know that their is an alternative to designing website’s.
That is cost effective and is easy to maintain over table based site‚ They need to let there client’s have the decision on what is appropriate for there audience. I’ve spent a lot of time last year working on my markup and css. Purchasing book’s to read‚ and surfing the web on any subject to do with web standard’s.
That when I design a website I will make the site’s as accessible as I can and they won’t lose any of there graphic’s. Lot of it is done on how you write your mark-up from skip to navigation to content and when you resize the text that your site does not break. It is a lot to think about but in the long run you want to reach as many people you can. So that when they visit your site either to buy your product’s or to read your blog they’ll keep coming back.
